I Love Webkinz World.

webkinz world is a place where you can do what ever you want. i adopted another webkinz. did you know that? i like to go to the arcade. webkinz are things that you can cuddle with while you play, and the arcade is a place where you can get some money called kinzcash to buy stuff at the w shop.

well, how you get the webkinz pets is you just adopt a pet which is a stuffed animal. it comes with a secret code and you can only open it when you get home from shopping for it. then you get online and you go to www.webkinz.com and type in your secret code to adopt and name your pet.

i got a pink pony first, the day i met kyran and her boys. her name is alice. then for christmas, mommy and daddy got me a littlekinz tree frog and a pinto pony to be her family. the frog's name is twinkletoes and the pinto's name is oreo. here is a picture of me and my webkinz pets together.

the non-virtual webkinz pets

and here is a picture of all three pets sitting together all by themselves in their house in webkinz world that my mommy took on the computer.

why you have to earn some money is so that you can buy some stuff at the w shop. you have to buy all kinds of stuff to take care of them, like food, clothes, furniture, and even rooms and yards that they can live in.

i am growing vegetables in my garden and i also have a yard that i decorated for christmas.

at christmas santakinz came cause i visited on christmas day. he left a special gift for alice.

my favorite thing in webkinz world is to go to the arcade because i like to play games there. i like waddell's icecap adventures best because i am good at it and i like it very much. and i'm so better at it than my mommy is.

Alice and her family are very cute.

My daughter is turning 3 years old soon. Do you think she would like a Webkinz pet? Or would you say she's a bit young yet? Maybe if I helped her?
Thanks in advance for your input, Bella.

Take care,

Marina.

Thank you so much for writing that!
I've been hearing a lot about Webkinz, but had not seen the site yet.
My daughter Kira turns 5 this month - and I was wondering if she'd like Webkinz.
After seeing what you posted, I know she will, because she currently spends time playing at the Disney Fairies site and loves that.
Love your blog!
Will be getting Kira a webkinz soon now!

Thank you for writing about Webkinz, Bella. Your house and yard are really nice, especially the Christmas decorations. I bet your tree frog loves the swimming pool!

Bella, I am a grown-up, but I think I would love a Webkinz pet. Do they have Poodles?

Wow! I was wondering what Webkinz was, and now I know EVERYTHING about them. Thank you for telling us all about it - you are a great teacher!

Sometime you should tell us about the stuff they have in the house. I see some stuff that looks really cool, but what is it?

Their house is so neat! How do they keep it so neat?

Can you play the Webkinz game on your XO laptop?

You really write to your blog all by yourself using your XO laptop?

That is really impressive!

This is "Mommy," (from her adult-sized Dell, thankyouverymuch) to answer some questions, since typing wears Bella right OUT. ;-) Hey, when you use two fingers, it takes a while. We're working on that with some SpongeBob typing games.

mama t: I think a 3-year-old would be interested in WW, but you'd have to do all the heavy lifting, with her basically watching. But it IS fun, even for grownups! I think probably that 4 and up is a little better, and to do some of the harder games, even older is better. There are higher levels of games and "school" and quizzes, etc. as kids get older.

geekmommy Bella LOVES the banner, thanks! I'm still giggling about "Sweetie Pie," because she named the blog like she'd name a pet. ;-) When she read this comment, Bella immediately asked if Kira could be her friend on WW! The interactive features are locked down pretty securely. Kids can't "chat" in the traditional sense, but they can send each other gifts from their docks, and they can "chat" using pre-written questions and answers that they select.

Amy, the yard is her favorite part! She actually added another one so that she could move the garden into its own space and use her other yard to "play."

Avalon - There are actually TWO poodles!! And yes, tons of grownups have Webkinz. I play it after Bella goes to bed sometimes.
;-)

Trishie, she could have gone on and ON if she just didn't get sick of typing! You'll notice that she abandoned capital letters after the first post. Heh.

louey - She'll probably get around to it! They have TVs, working stoves, refrigerators, blenders, toys and games, working bathtubs, all kinds of things! And yeah...funny how those critters never make a mess.

charbax - the blogging happens on the XO, and some Webkinz stuff, she plays on the XO. The XO is very, very slow with flash animation (which we had to install, after installing Firefox), so certain things in WW that are timed, like Kinzville Academy classes or the games with time limits, are not really do-able on the XO...yet. We're constantly tweaking it with the help of the genius Jer from www.nyquil.org.

And I try not to do anything that involves typing on the XO, because that keyboard is TINY. Definitely made for kids, not my giant fingers!

This is Jack and Hala's Mommy. We sent your our Webkinz information so our pet, PB Vest (that's short for Peanut Butter) wants to visit Alice and her family. Jackson wants to know if you used to be on TV because he says he saw you on TV one time. And we also want to know how you got an outdoor space because we can't figure out how to buy one.
